Apple Insider noted in a report that delivery time for build-to-order iMacs with 2 terrabyte drive has now been cut to two to four weeks, as can be seen on the Apple online store on http://www.apple.com.
Previously, Apple Insider reported that build-to-order iMacs with 2 terrabytes disk space could take five to seven weeks, probably because factory production was affected by massive flooding in Thailand for the past several months.
Production must be improving, because delivery time for build-to-order iMacs equipped with a 2TB hard drive has improved to two to four weeks for buyers ordering from Apple’s online store.
The 2TB hard drive comes as an option for the 21.5-inch iMac with 2.7GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5, and the 27-inch iMac. It is not an option on the 21.5-inch iMac with 2.5GHz processor.
